Welcome to £ñKAY. Below you’ll find the terms and conditions that apply to our Ready-to-Wear, Bespoke, and Consultation Services.

1. Ready-to-Wear Service

Delivery Policy

Processing Time:
Processing times are not included in the estimated delivery time at checkout. Please allow:
- Lagos: 24–48 hours
- Inter-state (Nigeria): 3–4 business days
- U.K: 4–5 business days
- U.S.A: 5–10 business days
- Australia: 5–10 business days
  High-volume seasons and sales periods may experience longer processing times.
Shipping Rates:
Calculated at checkout and vary by location. For international orders, rates vary depending on courier services.
Pre-Order Items:
Items marked as “PRE-ORDER” begin processing from the date specified in the product description. Timelines vary.
Dispatch Notification:
If you don’t receive a dispatch/delivery notice within the specified time, kindly email:
wearenkay5@gmail.com (include your order number).
Item Not Received:
Please wait an additional 2 business days beyond the estimated delivery period before contacting us. Delivery responsibility lies with the courier once items are dispatched.
Note: We do not offer refunds for lost packages, but we will resend untraceable items.
Customs & Duties:
International orders may be subject to customs charges and taxes imposed by the destination country. £ñKAY is not responsible for these fees. These are the customer’s responsibility.
In rare cases, duties may apply if items are shipped from multiple locations.

You can collect your order from our flagship store:
Close 53, E63A Victoria Garden City, Lagos.
Please book a consultation appointment in advance for pickups or urgent orders.

2. Bespoke / Custom Service

£ñKAY creates custom garments designed around your unique vision.

Terms & Conditions:

Production Timeline:
8 to 24 weeks depending on design complexity.
Pricing:
- Prices vary per design.
- Fully hand-beaded pieces begin at a higher rate.
- Final pricing is discussed privately and not disclosed publicly for client privacy.
Payment Terms:
- 80% deposit required to begin production.
- Balance due before delivery.
- Payments accepted in NGN and global currencies via our website or secure payment links.
Fabrics & Materials:
Clients are not permitted to supply fabrics. All materials are exclusively sourced by the £ñKAY atelier.
Client Responsibility:
For illusion mesh/net dresses, £ñKAY is not liable for wear-and-tear after delivery. Clients cover the cost of any post-wear alterations.

3. Consultation Service

What to Expect:

Consultations are held virtually (email, WhatsApp, FaceTime, or iMessage) unless otherwise requested.
Book at least 6 months before your event to allow time for sourcing, production, and fitting. Shorter timelines may be accepted depending on availability.
Consultation Fee: Non-refundable and non-transferable.
Session Duration: 40 minutes or less per client.
Pricing Range: Varies by fabric, embellishments, and complexity. See the bridal section or submit reference photos for estimates.

Additional Notes:

Clients must use £ñKAY fabrics—external fabrics are not accepted.
Please plan to spend adequate time during fittings to ensure a perfect fit.
Fittings after working hours will attract extra charges.
Completed outfits must be picked up within 2 weeks.
Outfits left unclaimed after 28 days may be donated to charity.
No refunds or exchanges once production begins (maximum 3 weeks after consultation).
Design changes post-production start incur a minimum 50% fee of the original cost.

Home Service Consultations:

Within Lagos: Price varies hourly
Outside Lagos/Nigeria: Price varies by day trip

Haute Couture Styling – #ThisIsNotADress

Minimum of 3 looks per session.
Fee charged per look.
Fabric retrieved immediately after photoshoot.
A mood board will be provided, but clients must organize photographer, MUA, and stylist independently (recommendations available).
This is a couture-only styling experience using temporary stitch techniques.
Clients must sign a Terms of Engagement document.

4. Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return/exchange delivery costs.

International Shipping

All customs duties and import taxes are the customer’s responsibility.

Order Cancellation

Orders may only be canceled before dispatch.

Return Shipping

We do not offer return labels. Customers must cover return logistics.

5. Return & Refund Policy

All bespoke and bridal items are custom-made and non-refundable.
For Ready-to-Wear items:
- Eligible for store credit or exchange if returned within:
  - 24 hours (Lagos)
  - 72 hours (outside Lagos)
- Items must be unused, in original condition, with tags attached.
No returns after:
- 48 hours (Lagos)
- 72 hours (outside Lagos)
Faulty items must be reported within 24 hours with video proof.
Refunds are not given unless the item is faulty upon delivery.
Sale items are final—no returns or exchanges.
Orders may only be canceled before dispatch.
Refunds (for damaged goods only) are processed within 5 business days.
Items abandoned for over 3 months will be donated to charity.

6. Payments

Payments are processed via Stripe, Paystack, or PayPal.
All transactions comply with PCI-DSS standards.
Data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your transaction.
For third-party processors, please refer to their privacy policies.

7. Third-Party Services & Security

We only share your personal data with providers necessary to fulfill your order.
Third-party services may operate under different privacy laws depending on location.
Once redirected to a third-party site, our Privacy Policy no longer applies.

Security Measures

We follow industry best practices to protect your data.
Cookies and automated tracking help us improve your user experience and serve relevant ads.

8. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies to personalize your experience and analyze traffic.
Cookies may be used by third-party advertisers (Google, Facebook, Instagram).
You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
No response to “Do Not Track” signals due to inconsistent standards.
